Lviv has always been famous for original traditions and celebrations. So this year on the “Mother’s Day” volunteers of three parishes organized action “Flowers of prayer” and congratulated mothers with children by exquisite roses, giving joy and positive attitude. The action took place after finishing the Mass in the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Church of All Saints Ukrainian people and the Church of St. Basil the Great. Overall, in three churches volunteers handed about six hundred roses.

Mother’s Day – international holiday. In Ukraine, it celebrated from 2000, аnd started this grand event in the USA in 1914, after First World War this holiday has spread in Sweden, Norway, of Denmark, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
